Potty Break

So for a week or two my crafting time will be at a minimum as we have started Konstance on her potty training. We are doing the bare bottom method, so have to keep an ever vigilant eye out that shes not just peeing on the floor. Wish us the best of luck, we gonna need it.

Today

Today I am working on another hooded toddler poncho, three more inkle band key rings, and possibly getting some more chainmaille pieces done. I think I have figured out how to do lettering with 4 in 1 chainmaille bands so I may offer customized chainmaille initial bracelets/keyrings soon.

Inkling

So I just drug the inkle loom out of the closet. So now I am tying heddles and preping the loom for stringing some green and black cotton keychains and belts for St. Patty's day coming up. Feels good to be getting the old girl out to weave on again.

Shirts

So the handwoven shirt design was a success, I started with the handwoven jesters tunic you see in my profile pic. The shirt is really comfy, wears well and looks good.  I am considering doing one in single colors for each of my girls, and possibly even as a custom order on etsy. I thought why should the hand-woven squares be doomed to a life of purses, pillows, scarves, and hoods. This is what developed....  handwoven shirts. Never know what we will come up with next.
